We at MEOW will be exhibiting from, Monday, September 7, 2009 at 10:00 am to Sunday, November 8, 2009 at 4:00 pm, with an Open House on Sunday, September 13, 2009 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
There are certain responsibilities that we at MEOW have and will assume for our show at the (LQ&TC):
MEOW'S Responsibilities' and Procedures:
1. As soon as possible, we must come up with a name of the exhibit and a one or two sentence description of it. This will be for their website and other publicity.
2. At least six (6) weeks (July 20, 2009) before the show, supply LQ&TC with material for press releases. Include pictures.
3. All pieces to be hung must have a hanging device such as sleeves for quilts, rods for wall hangings, etc. If there are special hanging instructions, please include.
4. All show materials should be at LQ&TC by the weekend before the show unless other arrangements have been made.
5. When the show is delivered to the LQ&TC, it should be accompanies by an inventory including:
A number for each item corresponding with a number on the back of the work, If the nature of the work is such that it cannot have a number attached, give a detailed description, so that it can be identified.
The name of the piece or a brief description.
The name of the artisan who made the piece.
The price of the piece for sale. If the work is not for sale, make the inventory NFS, but give us the value for insurance purposes.
6. May your show piece be photographed? LQ&TC will put a sign up on the piece if you do not wish it to be photographed.
