·        BASICS CLASS:  Take advantage of this opportunity to have a free lesson in basic machine embroidery skills presented by Alice Morris and a team of MEOW experts.  Alice is offering two additional classes – the Kitten and Metallic Chrysanthemums, which will take this basic class to the next level.  This class is for new and experienced members.  Basic 101 will be Thursday from 1:00pm to 4:00 pm in the Shoreline Room.  See you there!!!

·        Gift Exchange:  Strut your stuff…. Fabric Postcards will be the exchange gift.    We hope everyone will participate.  Contact Sali Lusk for more information.

·      Retail Market:  A shopping extravaganza!!!!  Lots of vendors are scheduled.  If you know a vendor that wants to participate, give Pat Bridwell a call or e-mail!!!

·       Style Show:  A favorite event at all seminars is the fashion show. You are encouraged to model your wearable art, garments, embellished items, and even accessories. No pre-registration of garments necessary. (See Seminar Brochure for further details.) Contact Kitty Young for more information.

·       Carol Cornford Scholarship Raffle: Get started collecting those Raffle gifts.   Area Groups are encouraged to provide raffle items from their group or from donors they contact (Ask the store or place where you meet, they already support us, ask for a donation, they don’t mind.  It’s free advertisement for them, and a tax write off as we are a non-profit organization and can provide our tax id number.)  Contact Diane Baker for more information or for a suggestion on vendors that may want to donate a gift to support us. Keep an eye out for the call for scholarship submissions.   This raffle is what supports those scholarships!!

·       All non-members who are interested in attending seminar should contact Roberta Strebe, Membership Chairman, for a brochure and information.  There is a small charge but that charge is credited to your yearly membership fee.
