Website Report for July 2007

Have you noticed... Lots of things happening with the website. Tami has completed the area group navigation, so each group has it’s own page and is organized better to reflect their geographical order.

If you have a picture of your group, your group banner, or something to do with your group, we want to put it on your area group page.. Send to Tami.. PSE@OZ.NET - with a subject line of MEOW . Please identify your group and any captions you would like to include.

If the business that you meet in would like to be recognized on our website, please send Jyll (stitchnstuff@comcast.net) a name and phone number for contacting the owner and I’ll get their link up on your area group page and under our sponsor thank you page. I am attempting to contact each business owner, but your help would be great.

Both Tami and I are working on each page on the website, one at a time, you will be seeing some color and style changes along with some necessary changes.

Newsletters on the website. If you miss the deadline for the newsletter printing and need to include an article or something, just send either Tami or I a word file and we can include with the newsletter that will be posted on the website. As soon as Cathy sends me the newsletter files, I will put it on the website.

Here is what we have going on in the future:

  • Secure login for each member – working with programmer at host services – timeline – end of 2007
  • Website guidelines, none can be found, so Tami and I will get some written – time line: by end of 2007
  • Seminar 2008 updates – Alice, please send us anything you would like to see on the web for your seminar.
  • Special offers from Joannes’, Pacific fabrics, etc. Working on each business for confirmation and guidelines – timeline – end of 2007
  • Update new elected officers
  • Page for member ads
  • Member chat area – by mid 2008
  • Website survey – timeline by end of 2007
  • Hit counter – timeline by end of 2007
